Six writers have been shortlisted for the 2026 Goldsmiths Prize, a £10,000 award that recognises fiction breaking new ground in the novel form.
Missouri Williams, China Miéville and Polly Barton are among those in contention. The prize celebrates work that "breaks the mould or extends the possibilities of the novel form", according to the prize's criteria.
